Jalysa Mayo is the founder and Creative Director of 46 Highway Productions, a Maryland-based video production company. She is a proud graduate of Morgan State University, where she earned her degree in Multi-Platform Production.

While still in college, Jalysa traveled both domestically and internationally as a Director of Photography, capturing documentary stories that shaped her creative perspective and passion for storytelling.

After graduating, she freelanced with a variety of businesses and nonprofit organizations across Maryland, helping them craft visual content that connected with their audiences. After three years in the freelance space, Jalysa joined a top financial firm as a video editor on their global production team. There, she worked on projects spanning London, China, Japan, and beyond—gaining experience in creating content for international audiences.

With years of industry experience and a passion for purposeful storytelling, Jalysa took a leap of faith and launched 46 Highway Productions. Through her company, she is committed to bringing your vision to life—producing cinematic, strategic content that resonates with your audience and leaves a lasting impact.
